Meet the candidates at Outlet 111, Penn Yan’s new hot spot

Penn Yan, NY – The Yates County Libertarian Party invites you to their inaugural “Liberty Rocks” event on November 5, 5-8pm at Outlet 111, Penn Yan’s newest cocktail bar, to celebrate and promote liberty.  They have also invited all of the candidates for elected office in Yates County to participate in a social hour from 5-6pm, one last chance to meet the candidates before the November 7 election day.

An alternative rock music show with a $10 admission fee to support the bands will follow the social hour in Outlet 111’s connected event space.  The show will feature Undefeated, and Sam Swanson’s original band Slave Two Servant who will be heading south to tour after the show.  Your cover includes a copy of Slave Two Servant’s latest album, Escape Babylon.  The bar will be open selling food and drink throughout the event.

The YCLP is expecting special guests Larry Sharpe, past Libertarian candidate for governor, and the local young philanthropist Colt Wicker who has been invited to sell popcorn as he raises money to complete a wheelchair accessible playground in Dundee.  YCLP Vice Chair Phil Rahr states, “We are thrilled to have both of our special guests.  Larry has been an inspiration with the way he has been engaged with voters all across the state, and his way of developing creative solutions that embrace freedom.”  He continues, “We love what Colt is doing for our community, and just hope that folks bring their popcorn money to help support his cause.  It’s people like him that are the reason we have such a nice place to live in.”
