Holiday schedule for City Hall, garbage, Hornell Public Library, and HAT
Common Council and Public Works Committee meeting dates
Hornell City Offices will close at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 21 and will reopen on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in observance of the Christmas holiday. The offices will, also, close at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 29, 2023, and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
Garbage collection will be delayed one day the weeks of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The Hornell Public Library will be closed on December 25, 2023. It will reopen on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. The library will also be closed on January 1, 2024 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Hornell Area Transit buses will not run on December 25, 2023or January 1, 2024.
Common Council Meeting
The Hornell Common Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2023, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, at 82 Main Street.
Board of Public Works Meeting
The City Board of Public Works will meet on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 amin the Second Floor Conference Room of City Hall, 82 Main Street.
