IMPACT to host “First Day Hike” New Years Day in the Phillips Creek State Forest

Phillips Creek State Forest: Hike with IMPACT!

Meet Up Location: State Route 244 Parking Area, West Almond Trail System, Phillips Creek State Forest

Date and Time: January 1, 11:00am

Description: Start the New Year right with a hike, snowshoe, or ski at Phillips Creek State Forest! We are offering a variety of loop trials to suit every age and ability: Trail 1 (1.5 miles), Trail 2 (1.25 miles), Trail 3 (2.0 miles) and a new Beginner Trail (0.8 miles), all beginning and ending at the parking area.Join us in welcoming the New Year and see the new bridge on Trail 2!

These hikes will be led by IMPACT: Friends Improving Allegany County Trails, Inc.

Special Instructions: Dress for the weather. Cancellations due to extreme weather will be announced on IMPACT’s website. All ages are welcome. Well-behaved pets are allowed on leash.
