Steuben County Deputies and SRO’s provide for kids in eight schools

Steuben County Deputies and School Resource Officers had the joy of delivering bags of new coats, mittens and hats to several school districts across the county last week before they closed for the holiday break.

As part of the “Reason for the Season – Coats for Kids Annual Drive,” coats, mittens and hats were collected in mid-December.

The Coats for Kids drive provides generously donated items to school districts to be given to kids who need them this winter season.

Districts receiving donations will include:

Hammondsport CSD
Prattsburgh CSD
Campbell-Savona CSD
Bath CSD
Arkport CSD
Corning-Painted Post ( High School, Middle & Elementary Schools)
Jasper -Troupsburg CSD
Hornell CSD
