Time and date changes: Buffalo Bills and local high school basketball with Dan Barkley Showcase at Alfred State

First the easy one that everyone knows, the Buffalo Bills’ playoff game with the Pittsburgh Steelers has been moved to 4:30 p.m. on Monday. It will not be played on Sunday.

Local high school teams from Allegany and Steuben counties were scheduled to play all day today at Alfred State’s Orvis Activities Center in the Dan Barkley Showcase.

The first three games were postponed.

HERE IS WHAT IS ON: 4 p.m. Thomas Edison of Elmira, coached by Belmont grad Lenny Smith takes on Jasper-Troupsburg. At 6 p.m., the “Main Event” as Genesee Valley/Belfast takes on Arkport-Canaseraga.

Tickets are $5 and weekend passes, if purchased, will be honored as well.

My Team Media is broadcasting the games at and on the NFHS Network. There is a fee to watch. My Team Media is donating a portion of the proceeds from today’s game to the Allegany County Deputy Sheriff’s Association.


The postponed games between Hammondsport and Andover/Whitesville; Cuba-Rushford and Canisteo-Greenwood and Bolivar-Richburg and Addison have not been rescheduled yet. They are working on all games being played Monday.
