Following President Biden’s State of the Union, New York State Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs released the following statement:
“Tonight, President Biden spoke directly to the American people about the historic progress of the Biden-Harris Administration from defending freedoms, protecting democracy, helping to create millions of jobs, lowering costs and more. President Biden made it clear that he is the leader New Yorkers need and deserve and laid out his clear vision for the future of our country. “
“As Donald Trump doubles down on his agenda to ban abortion nationally, make the wealthy richer, and take away the rights of hard-working New Yorkers, the contrast could not be clearer.
