Attempted Rape, Forcible Touching and Endangering a Child Arrest

From the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department,

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on March 15, 2024, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Craig A. Ronquillo, age 33, of Conklin Street, Hornell, New York, following an investigation of reported unlawful sexual contact in the Town of Pulteney. It is alleged that Mr. Ronquillo attempted to engage in sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 18 years, by forcible compulsion, and forcibly touched that person’s intimate parts. Mr. Ronquillo was charged with Attempted Rape in the First Degree, a class D Felony, Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Mr. Ronquillo was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
