School resource, court security, and correction officers join the department

Please join us in welcoming our newest School Resource Officer, Jason Blencowe who was sworn in by Sheriff Allard yesterday afternoon. SRO Blencowe will be assigned to Carder Elementary in the C-PP School District. The Steuben County Sheriff’s office now has 20 officers assigned to schools across our county.
