Woman wanted for triple-murder leads high-speed chase from Allegany County to Bath

A woman wanted for allegedly murdering three of her roommates in Virginia was spotted in Allegany County and led police on a high-speed chase at speeds of 130 miles per hour, according to reports.

The chase went on Interstate 86 through Angelica and Hornell and police put down spike strips in Bath which appeared to have caused the vehicle she was driving to lose control and strike a guiderail.

Police presence in Bath is extremely high.

Drones were called in to find the woman.

According to the CBS-6 in Richmond, the woman, Alyssa Venable, 23, is wanted on three counts of second-degree murder and using a gun while committing a felony. Police say she was charged with assault and battery over an altercation at a McDonald’s she worked at just last month. 

The deceased are two elderly men and one elderly woman.

Earlier today, there were bank robberies after an Olean man allegedly carjacked a vehicle. Police in Allegany, Cattaraugus and McKean counties wee on the case and charged Edwin McPeak, Jr., of Olean with robbery.
