While the photo on this story is of the fun and peaceful times at Letchworth State Park, today is not the day to visit.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office released, “Please avoid the area of Letchworth State Park as Law Enforcement is working an investigation. We are asking the public to avoid the hiking trails and the camping area at this time. Thank you!”
That request is now heavy police presence from multiple agencies at all access roads in the park.
According to WHEC-TV of Rochester, A person went in a home in Irondequoit at early today and shot a man to death. The man was found at 6 a.m.
Police believe the man wanted in the shooting may be in Letchworth State Park. Police said they are looking for a gray Acura.
