Elliott passed away last week after a swimming accident

By Justine Tallman

It is with great sadness that I reach out to the Belfast community to rally support for the Elliott family as they grieve the loss of their son, Ricky, after the tragic accident on the river. It is times like this that it is so important that we come together to support one another when life hands us an unimaginable situation.

If you would like to help support the Elliott family as they maneuver the grief of their children, their own heartache after losing their son, and work to make arrangements that will impact their ability to focus on their usual responsibilities please let me know.  I will be collecting money/gift card donations, have dinner sign ups available, and will help reach out to the family to keep the community informed of ways we can continue to support them during this time of loss.  You may contact me, Justine Tallman (jtallman1234@yahoo.com) or drop donations off at the main office at Belfast Central School to pick up and I will make sure the Elliott’s know we are all here to support them today and moving forward.   We will also have donation jugs throughout the area for cash donations.

If you would like to sign up to make a meal or purchase food/snacks to help reduce the stress of prepping meals daily please sign up on the meal train. For donations to help the Elliott’s we have a tab set up to donate and to explains right on the site. http://nkxumc.com if you have any questions reguarding the donations you can reach Justine Tallman (jtallman1234@yahoo.com). — with Rick Elliott.
