Local law enforcement conduct pro-active training in preparation for new school year

In June, School Resource Officers (SRO’s) with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office completed a three day training session that included use of force review, de-escalation training and firearms.
The photos of the SRO’s moving down the hallways are from a mock active shooter scenario in which they used the training covered throughout the session.
