Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Son

Kirt M. Shaner, 64, of 6648 East Port Bay Road, Wolcott, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at home.

Born on October 22, 1960, in Rochester, he was a son of Donald and Marian (Greeley) Shaner.  On July 18, 1987, he married the former Dori Packard who survives.

Kirt had worked as the Night Crew Leader at TOPS Friendly Markets for many years and took great pride in his job.  He was willing to help anyone, especially the elderly while they were shopping.

Kirt enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, and spending time in Bolivar. He will be remembered as someone who would go out of his way to help others and for his wealth of knowledge and ability to fix anything.  He was very loving towards his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He always made sure his parents knew he loved them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents Donald and Marian Shaner of Bolivar

He was predeceased by a brother Keith Shaner.

At his request there will no services at this time.
