NYS Police arrested William Shaw, 54, in Willing NY
From the NYS Police,
On February 27, state police arrested Shaw for two felony charges: Promoting the sexual performance of a child and Possessing the sexual performance of a child.
He was arraigned and held in Allegany County jail without bail.
Promoting a sexual performance of a child 17 years or younger Under Penal Law Section 263.00(5), promote means “to procure, manufacture, issue, sell, give, provide, lend, mail, deliver, transfer, transmute, publish, distribute, circulate, disseminate, present, exhibit or advertise, or to offer or agree to do the same.”
A person may be charged with Possessing a Sexual Performance By a Child charge, Penal Law Section 263.16, “when, knowing the character and content thereof, he knowingly has in his possession or control, or knowingly accesses with intent to view, any obscene performance which includes sexual conduct by a child less than 16 years of age.”
