Deputies act with “professionalism, leadership…. empathy and compassion”
From the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office,
Deputy Nadjadi and Deputy Robinson were commended by Sheriff Allard during a brief ceremony March 3, 2025 before the Steuben County Legislature’s Public Safety and Corrections Committee. On January 10th Deputies Nadjadi and Robinson responded to a medical call in the Village of Bath where Deputy Robinson assessed the patient and began CPR while Deputy Nadjadi assisted Bath PD Officers in calming the patient’s spouse and clearing a path for ambulance personnel to load and transport the patient. Deputy Robinson continued to attend to the patient and rode with the ambulance to a local hospital where the patient received treatment, and Deputy Nadjadi transported the patient’s spouse to the hospital to reunite with her husband.
“I commend Deputy Robinson and Deputy Nadjadi for their professionalism, leadership and service. Not only did you display lifesaving skills in medical assessment and treatment, but you also showed empathy and compassion to the family of the patient.” Allard stated in his commendation.
