Put August 1st and 2nd in Veterans Memorial Park on the calendar!
From the City of Hornell Mayor John Buckley,
Hornell, NY – April 30, 2025 – It is with excitement that I announce that the 16th Annual Mustang Rally of the Finger Lakes is relocating to Hornell and will be held at Veterans Memorial Park at James Street, after 15 successful years in Phelps, NY. To ensure a smooth transition, we have partnered with the wonderful people at Cruize’nTime to help organize the Mustang Rally. Cruize’n Time has been organizing car shows throughout our area for the last decade and are a perfect fit for the Mustang Rally.

This annual event is set to take place on Friday, August 1st, and Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, and we are thrilled to welcome Mustang enthusiasts from all over the region to our wonderful city.
The Rally will kick off with a cruise to and from Watkins Glen International Raceway on Friday, August 1st, giving participants a thrilling opportunity to drive on one of the most renowned race tracks in the world. The Rally will continue on Saturday, August 2nd, at Veterans Memorial Park at James Street in Hornell. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the park will be buzzing with Mustang enthusiasts, showcasing a variety of classic and modern Mustangs, all while enjoying the beauty of Veterans Memorial Park.
In addition to the Mustangs on display, we’ll have food vendors offering a variety of delicious options, as well as craft vendors to make the event even more fun and festive for people of all ages. We’re also planning some exciting activities for Friday evening before the main Rally on Saturday, ensuring that there will be plenty to do for enthusiasts coming to our community.
This event marks an exciting new chapter for the Mustang Rally of the Finger Lakes, and I look forward to welcoming all attendees to Hornell for a weekend full of fun, camaraderie, and, of course, incredible cars. I would like to thank all the volunteers who made the Rally into such a wonderful event in the Village of Phelps for so many years. We are honored to carry on the tradition here in the Maple City.
The Rally is sponsored by Cruize’n Time, Hornell Partners for Growth, the City of Hornell, and myself. More details will be shared in the coming weeks, so be sure to mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information!
Sincerely,
John Buckley
Mayor
