Loving mother and wife, Sylvia, died on December 15, 2024 after a long illness, at the age of 88.
Sylvia was a 1953 graduate of Wellsville HS in Wellsville, NY. She worked as a telephone operator in the 1950’s. My dad enlisted in the U.S. Army in the 1960’s and when they returned went to work for the Citizen’s National Bank. Sylvia loved antiques and collecting glassware. She had a large collection of Hummel’s.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert D. Weber. Upon his death they had been married 67 years, her son Robert D. Weber Jr., her father Alfred F. Hale, her mother Lucille Mosher Hale, her brothers David Hale and Stephen Hale and an infant granddaughter, Angel.
She leaves behind her daughter Sherry Weber (Michael Blackwell); grandchildren Brian A. Simpson II, Andrew W. Weber (Jaime), Chrysanne N. Weber, Derek B. Weber, Justin R. Weber and Logan D. Weber and great-grandson Jacob A. Simpson.
There was a graveside service in Wellsville, NY on May 10, 2025.
