Strong storms are expected this afternoon and evening

Multiple rounds of storms today into the overnight hours could cause instances of flash flooding.
The highest confidence in flash flooding chances has been highlighted with a Flood Watch starting at 11am and lasting into the overnight hours. Areas outside the Flood Watch could see isolated flash flooding as well, especially those areas prone to flooding problems.
Some of the thunderstorms that develop this afternoon could be severe, with damaging wind gusts as the main threat.
