Come to the Krooked Tusker Distillery August 8 in Hammondsport NY

From CCSL,

Catholic Charities Steuben/Livingston has seen an increased need for food and other emergency services already this year, and we anticipate that to continue a trend upward.  The first half of 2025 we have assisted individuals and families with over 9,100 services, including direct payment assistance.  We have also given out enough food for over 129,000 meals.  These are staggering numbers, and with planned cuts to Federal funding we look to our community and neighbors for help.

One way to help is to join us for a Summer Sensational event!  On August 9 from 3pm-6pm Krooked Tusker Distillery in Hammondsport will be hosting an event for us to raise money for Emergency Services.  The event is free to attend, but there will be food and drinks available for purchase, as well as a 50/50 and basket raffles.  We also ask for those attending, please bring a non-perishable food item to help fill our giant mug!

“The need in our community is growing faster than ever before”, said Emergency Services Director, Sally Ressue. “We are relying more than ever on the compassion and generosity of our neighbors. Events like Summer Sensational are not just fundraisers they are lifelines. We invite everyone to come out, enjoy the day, and be part of the hope we’re building together.”

Come enjoy delicious food, live music, and refreshing drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic)  to support our Emergency Services program.  Plan your day to come and relax near the beautiful Keuka Lake while connecting with some of our CCSL team members.  For more information, please contact Nicole Ricker at nicole.ricker@dor.org.

If you are not able to attend but are interested in making a donation, you can do so online here ccsteubenlivingston.org/giving/donate/, or mail a check to 12 Allen St, Hornell, NY 14843.  All donations are appreciated and help to make a difference in our community.
