Statement from Shawn Hogan:
“As county chairmen of Steuben County Democratic Committee and a member of the City of Hornell Democratic Committee Mr. Voss was uninvited to our meeting on Monday 8/25/23. The invitation should never have been extended without consultation with the full committee.
The Democratic Committee in no way intended to get involved in Mr. Voss’s write in campaign or supporting his candidacy in any way, shape, or form. Our goal is to support and elect candidates running on the Democratic line , PERIOD. Full stop.
We will not be party to nastiness, name calling or character assassination. This is a non-issue and the City Committee is focused on the November election.”
