Feathers and foliage on the Canisteo River

Happy Friday from Cameron Mills!

By Janie Ferguson,

It is currently sixty-five degrees, and partly sunny in Cameron Mills, NY here in Steuben County, NY, at just about 10:00 am, along the scenic Canisteo River; as the leaves begin to change into their fall majesty.

I begin this week with a small, charming black-capped chickadee, and the captivating Canisteo River view as the leaves just begin to change here this morning.

Next a sweet black-capped chickadee, a delightful downy woodpecker, which is one of the smallest woodpeckers, and a lovely female cardinal at our feeders, all decorated for the fall.

Then a colorful bridge view of the Canisteo River looking towards the boat launch.

Ending with a tufted titmouse with sunflower seed in beak, and a shot looking towards the boat launch as the colors pop along the river bank.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend, and stay safe, as well.
