Late night rescues with Two Sisters Wildlife Rescue are exactly what keeps us going!
Last night, two bearded dragons and a parrot were rescued from a condemned property in Hornell. The dogs & cats were removed by the SPCA but these poor exotic creatures were left behind, sadly. When everyone else said no, we just couldn’t turn these sweet babies away.

The bearded dragons were without power and heat for an unknown amount of time, and they are both struggling — one with a severe case of mouth rot that will take a long time to heal, and the other is also very sick.
The parrot had an extremely overgrown beak and nails, making it almost impossible to eat.
A HUGE thank-you to Hornell Police Department for contacting me, Autumn & Tosha for making the trip and to Wild and Wet Pets for opening late to help trim the bird’s beak and nails, and get supplies for the dragons.
The two bearded dragons are now safe here with Life on the Wildside, where they will get the round-the-clock care they desperately need. And our friends at Two Sisters Wildlife Rescue welcomed the parrot with open arms — he’s already showing his personality and getting the care he deserves! ![]()

We’re exhausted, grateful, and so happy these three will now know warmth, safety, nourishment, and LOVE. ![]()
Welcome home, little ones — your best days start now. ![]()
We had to go above & beyond today to get these precious souls the supplies they desperately needed. If you’d feel so kind (please) help us with a donation or at least a social media share!!
