No garbage service or Hornell Area Transit on Thanksgiving November 27
HORNELL – City Hall will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and remain closed for Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.
Hornell Area Transit (HAT) will be closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27th, and will resume regular service on Friday, November 28th.
There will be no garbage collection on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27th, collection will resume Friday, November 28th. This means that residents whose garbage normally is picked up on Thursday will have it picked up on Friday that week, while those with Friday collection will have it picked up on Saturday.
