On Saturday, December 6th from 10 AM to 2 PM, the beloved Hammondsport Cookie Walk returns, inviting families, friends, and holiday wanderers to enjoy one of the village’s sweetest traditions.
The Cookie Walk is simple and delightful:
Stroll through participating businesses, collect homemade cookies along the way, and fill your festive tin with treats to take home (if they make it that long!). It’s part scavenger hunt, part holiday shopping day, and entirely woven with the warmth of community.
Shops open their doors with smiles, cozy displays, and trays of cookies that look almost too perfect to nibble… almost.

The tins released on November 14th sold out in a flash, a true testament to the excitement surrounding this sweet holiday tradition.
But good news — souvenir tins will be available on December 8th for anyone who still wants a festive keepsake!

Though event tins are officially sold out, the magic of Hammondsport on December 6th is always open to everyone.
You can still wander the village square, soak in the twinkle lights, admire the decorated shop windows, sip something warm, and feel that unmistakable holiday spirit that only Hammondsport can create.

🎄✨ Kick Off the Holidays at the Library ✨🎄
The Fred & Harriett Taylor Memorial Library invites the community to Kick Off the Holidays on Saturday, December 6th from 10am–2pm downstairs at the library. Guests can enjoy a festive 🍪 Cookie Walk, lively music from the 🎷 HCS Jazz Band, hands-on 🎨 holiday card making, an 🐾 SPCA fundraiser, a 📚 book sale, and 🧵 handmade pet toys from Threads. It’s a cheerful celebration filled with treats, creativity, and holiday spirit for all ages!
