Open House planned for Saturday May 16, 2026, the public is welcome

Hornell Erie Depot Museum is celebrating the 175th Anniversary of the first Erie Railroad through train from the Hudson to Lake Erie in 1851 with then-President Millard Fillmore on board. The Museum, which is located at 111 Loder Street in Hornell, is hosting an Open House on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11am to 3pm.

Admission is free. We will be serving refreshments, and will have railroad and train books and memorabilia for sale.
