You are invited to the 3rd year of Free, Community-Centered Pride !!
From the CALC,
Cattaraugus-Allegany Liberation Collective (CALC) invites everyone to join a celebration of love, community, and courage at Island Park on Saturday, May 30, from noon to 4 PM. The third-annual Rainbow Revolution will feature live music, yoga, arts & crafts, face painting, neighborhood vendors, regional service providers, and delicious food, along with family-friendly fun for all ages. All workshops and events are free and open to everyone.
The festival’s goal, according to organizers, is to expand the affirming space CALC has built alongside the community over the past two years, where people can continue to celebrate Pride and join in the struggle for liberation, not only for LGBTQ+ communities but for everyone. The collective strives to foster a welcoming environment rooted in inclusivity, solidarity, and activism, keeping Pride a space of joy, resistance, and community empowerment without corporate influence.
“Rural communities get told Pride happens somewhere else,” said Joshua, organizer with CALC. “It happens in the cities. You have to leave to find it. Rainbow Revolution is here to remind us we’re already here, we’re already capable of loving each other, and we already have what we need to build the world we deserve, right here at home.”
Swipe to see some of the music, vendors, and booths that will be set up for the event:
Vendors at Rainbow Revolution are not charged a fee. Instead, each is asked to donate any reasonable amount to an LGBTQ+ affirming organization of their choice. To date, 2026 vendors have collectively donated more than $500 to LGBTQ+ uplifting nonprofits. Vendor and event spotlights, as well as a schedule of the day’s events, are available on CALC’s Facebook page.
Parking Details
Parking will be limited to the lots outside the park and along the river to provide a safe environment for all attending. Limited spots are available near the entrance or inside for accessibility needs. Attendees with questions can speak with a representative posted at the entrance.
