“BR/CR is a young team and what a great story, coming together to field a team and as the six-seed making a great run. They are used to winning there and that was a big concern coming in the game,” said Wellsville coach John Anderson. “Our seniors stepped up and the freshmen and sophomores came in clutch. Hitting is contagious. We had a plan for pitching and pitch counts and everyone exceeded expectations on the mound. It was a nice team win and a great crowd from each community.”
