“Summer is an exciting time in the City of Hornell, and we’re looking forward to welcoming residents back to our parks,” said Mayor John Buckley. “From the pool and splash pad to our playgrounds and sports courts, there are plenty of opportunities for people of all ages to get outside, stay active, and enjoy the season. We appreciate our continued partnership with the YMCA and look forward to another safe and successful summer in Hornell.”

Aquatics Director Amanda Gillette shared her excitement: “We are really excited to partner with the City to operate the pool at James Street Park again this summer. This partnership allows the YMCA to bring our dedication to healthy living to the community while providing a safe, fun, and welcoming place for families to enjoy the water.
