Racalto’s of Hornell donates big to Palmesano Strong

In May, Racalto’s Round Up beneficiary was Palmesano Strong, a nonprofit established in memory of Mick Palmesano, who lost his battle with ALS. There is perhaps no greater heartbreak than the loss of a child, yet Mick’s family has transformed that grief into a powerful force for good.

Mick’s sister, Peggy, and her husband, Tom, founded Palmesano Strong and have raised and donated tens of thousands of dollars to support ALS research and local initiatives. Racalto’s was honored to play a small part in helping keep Mick’s memory and spirit alive.

Thanks to the generosity of our customers, we were proud to raise $500 for this worthy organization. We are grateful to our community for continuing to support causes that make a difference in the lives of others.

Accepting the check is Mick’s mother Suzy. We were also joined by his father, Mike and Peggy and Tom.
