Come to the “Town Where History Lives” to celebrate 250 years of freedom

From the 250 Celebration Committee,

The Town and Village of Angelica are excited to announce a major community celebration in honor of America’s 250th Birthday on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in downtown Angelica — proudly known as the “Town Where History Lives.”

This exciting, family-oriented event promises a full day of patriotic celebration, entertainment, and community spirit for residents and visitors of all ages.

Highlights of the celebration will include:

  • A large patriotic parade featuring floats, ATV groups, area fire companies, businesses, bands, municipalities, and much more
  • Family activities and children’s games
  • Bounce houses and kids’ entertainment
  • Food vendors throughout the day
  • A special flag ceremony
  • Live music and entertainment
  • A street dance hosted by American Legion Hill Warner Post 414 featuring The Johnson Boys & SOUTHBOUND
  • A spectacular fireworks display at dusk

Organizers encourage everyone to spend the entire day enjoying all that downtown Angelica has to offer during this historic celebration.

“This will be a fun-filled day for the whole family and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our nation’s history and community pride together,” organizers stated.
