Street Milling planned in the City of Hornell for August 3 and 4

Six streets scheduled will be NO PARKING beginning at 7am

From City Hall,

The Department of Public Works will be milling the following streets on Monday, August 3rd and Tuesday, August 4, 2026:

Genesee Street

Collier Street

Cameron Avenue

E. Washington Street

S. Division Street

School Street

There will be an increase in heavy truck traffic and NO PARKING on these streets beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2026 until milling and cleanup is complete.  Please find alternate places to park for the day prior to 7 a.m.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we make these necessary improvements to our City Streets.

** If you are experiencing issues with your water or sewer, please have it resolved before paving begins (paving is tentatively scheduled for the beginning of September). **
