Larry L. Rupp – 73 – of 13 Sawyer St., Hornell, died unexpectedly on Tuesday (August 25, 2026) at his home.
He was born in Putneyville, PA on December 25, 1952. He grew up in Oil City, PA and was a graduate of Oil City High School.
Larry was a veteran of the US Army, serving his country from 1970 until his honorable discharge in 1977. He remained a member of the US Army Reserves until 1980.
For a time, he was employed by a Dansville based company, installing swimming pools throughout Western New York State. Throughout the years, Larry enjoyed rooting for the Buffalo Bills (NFL).
He is survived by several relatives, including his former wife, Lorraine Rupp of Hornell.
At Larry’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at the Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
Larry’s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
