The Allegany Artisans are pleased to welcome two new members to this year’s 38th Annual Allegany Artisans Studio Tour, taking place October 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with select studios also open Friday, October 16, from 5 to 8 p.m.
This year, 34 artisans at 27 locations throughout Allegany County will open their studios and creative spaces to visitors for the free, self-guided tour. Artists working in clay, wood, metal, fiber, painting, jewelry, paper and more will share their work, with many offering demonstrations and a glimpse into their creative process.
While many Allegany Artisans have participated in the tour for years, and some for decades, the group is excited to welcome two new artists to the 2026 tour.
Andover – Elizabeth Walsh
Ceramic artist Elizabeth Walsh will be showing with Karen Tuffy on Saturday and Sunday at 47 South Main Street, Route 21, next to Steve’s Gas N Grub Hub.

Walsh creates functional ceramics that explore color and glaze. Working primarily on the wheel, she creates simple, understated forms that allow the surfaces and her experimentation with glazes to take center stage.
Wellsville – Justin Cornelius
Woodworker Justin Cornelius will welcome visitors to his studio at 3344 Vossler Road in Wellsville.

Cornelius creates a variety of pieces from hardwood, ranging from functional items for everyday use to customized and personalized work. His woodworking combines the natural character of hardwood with designs created for both practical and personal use.
The Allegany Artisans invite visitors to spend the weekend exploring the county, meeting artists where they work and discovering the wide variety of art and fine craft being created throughout the region.
