Help JJ Through His Brain Surgery & Recovery ❤️Visit the GoFundMe

Jamar “JJ” Wicks is a student in Mrs. Frost’s Hornell 2nd grade class, is a Red Raider wrestler and football player

From JJ’s Family and Friends,

Our sweet Jamar, who we lovingly call JJ, is a funny, energetic 6-year-old who will be turning 7 on September 19th. Just three days after his birthday, on September 22nd, JJ will be undergoing a serious brain surgery called a craniectomy, suboccipital with duraplasty.

This is a very scary and emotional time for our family. JJ is expected to have a long recovery and will be unable to return to his normal activities for more than six weeks. During this time, his mom Regan Cleveland will need to stay home with him to care for him and help him through his recovery.

JJ is the kind of kid who brings laughter and energy wherever he goes. He absolutely loves wrestling and football, and anyone who knows him knows just how much he loves being an active, happy little boy. ❤️

His surgery and recovery will also mean a lot of unexpected expenses for the family. His hospital is about two hours away from home, so transportation back and forth will be a major challenge. We are hoping to raise funds to help with transportation, household bills, and other expenses while his mom is home caring for him.

We know that times are difficult for many people, and we are grateful for anything you can give. No amount is too small. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing JJ’s story, keeping him in your thoughts and prayers, and helping us spread the word means more than you know.

Our biggest wish is simply to see JJ come through his surgery safely, heal, and get back to being the happy, energetic kid who loves wrestling, football, and making everyone laugh.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting JJ and our family during this difficult time. ❤️
