Faith organization recognizes Gies’s commitment to human dignity, justice, compassion, and solidarity
Catholics Vote Common Good has announced its endorsement of Aaron Gies for Congress in New York’s 23rd District, citing his commitment to lowering everyday costs, holding government accountable, and policies that protect the dignity and well-being of every person.

At a time when our communities need leaders who will stand with working families, protect the vulnerable and bring people together, Aaron offers the principled and compassionate leadership this moment demands.”
Gies is a nonprofit leader and professor of Theology at St. Bonaventure University. He is currently on leave while he travels the district holding over 100 town halls and has made everyday costs, along with healthcare access government accountability, a central focus of his campaign for Congress.
Catholics Vote Common Good’s endorsement reflects the organization’s commitment to supporting candidates whose leadership aligns with the values of Catholic Social Teaching, including human dignity, care for the poor and vulnerable, solidarity, workers’ rights and responsible stewardship of creation.
