Larry “The Bikeman” Pelkey accepting bicycle donations, Hornell Elks make big donation

The bikes will be refurbished and given to kids that will really benefit from them! Help us make a child smile

Help the Hornell Elks Lodge in assisting Larry’s Bikes of Hornell Inc. in giving back to the community this summer

From Larry’s Bikes of Hornell Inc,

If you have a bike no matter the size, trikes to 10 speeds that is no longer being used and is in need of some TLC then please donate it to Larry Pelkey of Larry’s Bikes of Hornell Inc. A 501c3 non-profit, and your donation is tax deductible.

Larry is looking for gently used bikes that your kids or yourself have outgrown. The bikes will be refurbished and given to kids at events throughout the summer. To aid in Larry’s mission to give bikes to the community the Hornell Elks lodge has awarded Larry a $2000 grant that will help pay for the materials needed to fix up bikes that are donated.

Larry’s Bikes of Hornell inc. is a 501c3 non profit.  Your donations are tax deductible to the full extent of law. Since Larry began his mission in 2021 he has given 877 bikes away to local kids.

If you are looking for a bike Larry will be set up at the Wildflower Festival on May 25 and will have about 30 bikes and helmets to give away.
