Come to Union Square Park 10am until 2pm to help the Scouts!!
From Sonya Ellison,
With SNAP Benefit cuts affecting many families now and well into the holiday season, more will be relying on local food pantries for help making ends meet for Thanksgiving.
Give back as the Hornell Boy Scouts of America Troop 1009 holds their annual Canned Drive near Union Square Park this Saturday.
Troop 1009 are running their drive a bit differently this year: as a drop-off event.

The one-day drop-off event is this Saturday, November 1st from 10AM to 2PM next to Union Square Park in Hornell.
Since plastic bags were banned in New York state, this year the Boy Scouts aren’t leaving bags at everyone’s door to fill with food for pick-up.
Help Troop 1009 make a difference by donating non-perishable canned and boxed food items to support families in our community.
Donations can also be dropped off by calling Hornell Partners for Growth at 607-385-3053 to set up a drop-off time.
