Bridget Catherine Lee, a spirited and talented young woman, passed away on February 13, 2026, after a brief battle with glioblastoma. Born in Cortland, NY on February 7, 2004, to Brian and Deborah Lee, Bridget loved shopping, watching musicals, styling hair, making jewelry and cuddling her cat, Lily. She enjoyed humor and when she laughed it filled the room. Her beautiful spirit moved through life with quiet grace and a hidden spunk that redheads have.
Bridget was known for her dedication, especially when it came to dance and color guard. Her passion for these activities was evident in every performance, whether it was at dance classes at 171 Cedar Arts, participating in the Patty Ozer Story Ballet, or as a member of the Dance Machine or Color Guard groups at CPP High School. In addition to making jewelry, she also enjoyed other forms of crafting. What mattered most to Bridget, though, was spending time with her family. Playing games, solving mysteries, and watching movies created memories that will forever remain etched in the hearts of her loved ones.
Bridget is survived by her loving parents, Brian and Deborah Lee; her two caring brothers, Brendan Lee and Michael Andrew Wendler and his wife Merideth; her doting grandparents, Robert and Patricia Lee Sr. and Allen and Ruthella Backman; her uncles, Robert Lee Jr. and Kevin Lee; and several cousins. As we remember Bridget, we remember a funny, spirited, and talented soul whose life, though short, was a dance of joy, love, and laughter.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 3-6 pm at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street, Corning, NY. Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
