Foggy Friday in Steuben County

Author: Share:

It is currently 37* and cloudy here in Cameron Mills, NY at just about 10:00 am

Photo journal by Janie Ferguson,

I begin this week with a delightful black-capped chickadee, and a foggy afternoon view of the mystical Canisteo River looking downstream from the Cameron Cemetery Bridge. (A note here. Cameron is a town that is neighbor to our hamlet of Cameron Mills, NY in the Town of Rathbone. People often get them confused.)

Next a stunning male cardinal, and looking upstream at the foggy river view in the same spot. Then a white-breasted nuthatch, and ending with a surprise early visit from an American robin, singing high in the tree. Hopefully a sign of an early spring for us here in Steuben County!

I hope you have a good weekend.
