Attorney John E. Bernacki, Jr. has assumed the private law practice of Peter J. Degnan, who is currently serving as Acting District Attorney of Allegany County.
Attorney Bernacki brings more than 35 years of legal experience to the practice and will continue to provide services in estate planning, wills, and real estate matters. In addition to taking over the Allegany County practice, Bernacki maintains a law office in Pittsford, New York.
Bernacki currently serves as an Assistant District Attorney in the Allegany County District Attorney’s office, and previously served the community as a former Town Judge in Pittsford, New York. His extensive background in both public service and private practice positions him well to ensure continuity and high-quality legal services for the firm’s clients.
Degnan expressed confidence in the transition, noting that Bernacki’s decades of experience and community ties will provide stability and trusted counsel to existing and future clients.
