Big Boy No. 4014, Union Pacific’s largest operating steam locomotive, is hitting Silver Springs, Letchworth and Hornell today.

Hornell, Rail City USA, is showing up and showing out. The locomotive will stop for 30 minutes at 2 p.m.
As a result, expect closed roads and increased traffic around the Hornell Erie Depot Museum at 111 Loder St.
The historic run to the North is to celebrate America’s 250th birthday and Hornell was picked as one of 50 stops in 10 states.
