It wasn’t the championship Canisteo-Greenwood set out for at the start of the season, but C-G finished strong with a 72-60 win over Addison to take the Steuben County consolation title in the county tournament, finishing third.
Avoca-Prattsburgh won the league as the No. 1 team in the state in Class D had an 81-48 win over Campbell-Savona.
Macoy Putnam, one of the most electrifying passing guards in Section V, finished with 15 points, seven steals and four assists as he was named tournament MVP.
Avoca-Prattsburgh (20-0) has a different MVP each game.
