Tonight’s action in Academic All Stars saw its first tie of the season and many exciting matches 

In the LARGE SCHOOL DIVISION, Bath Haverling took on Hornell and won the match with a score of 40-35.  Corning Gold defeated Corning Black 27 – 10.

 Undefeated Naples continued their season in the MEDIUM LARGE SCHOOL DIVISION with another win over Addison who had no B team, shortening the match with the score of 24 – 1.   Canisteo-Greenwood faced Campbell-Savona and won with a score of 47 to 29.

Hammondsport seemed unstoppable with quick buzzers and fast-paced responses.  They outscored a determined Arkport-Canaseraga  by a score of 96 – 11 .  The second match in the MEDIUM SMALL SCHOOL DIVISION saw Alfred-Almond’s two teams on stage together.  Alfred-Almond Blue outscored Alfred-Almond Gold in a close match, scoring 60-47.  

The excitement was high in Prattsburgh for moderator Pat Soper-Oakes.  After A  teams and B teams faced off in both three minute and buzzer rounds, the score was tied at 33 points for both the  Prattsburgh Vikings and the Bradford Braves.  A five question toss-up tie breaking round gained three points for Prattsburgh who then won with a score of 36 – 33.
