The Hornell Public Library is excited to be offering four digital literacy classes this February with the help of the PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive supported by the PLA and AT&T. Check out the upcoming workshops below!

Attend any of the Hornell Public Library’s February 2024 Digital Literacy Workshops to have your name entered in a free drawing for an Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet and $25 VISA Gift Card. Attend all four workshops for your name to be entered four times. The drawing will take place February 22nd.

February 2nd at 11 AM – Donuts & Devices: Mobile Device Basics for Android Users

Enjoy a free donut while you get help with your phone or tablet! Bring your own device or come test out one of the library’s new Samsung tablets.

February 7th at 2 PM – Cybersecurity Basics

Come learn how to stay safe online, identify and protect yourself from frauds and scams, and learn tips and tricks to strengthen your passwords and safeguard your personal information.

February 16th at 11 AM – Donuts & Devices: Mobile Device Basics for iOS/Apple Users

Enjoy a free donut while you get help with your iPhone or iPad! Bring your own device or come test out one of the library’s new iPads.

February 21st at 2 PM – Computer Basics (Windows OS)

Come learn how to use the Windows 10 operating system. The library has laptops available to use during the training, but feel free to bring your own!

The Hornell Public Library is located at 64 Genesee Street, Hornell, NY. The library’s open hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
