The quake occurred at 11:11am today

GAINESVILLE — If you thought you felt a tremor this morning, you weren’t dreaming. A minor earthquake occurred 11:11 a.m. according to the U.S. Geological Service. It had a 2.6 magnitude and occurred at a depth of 9.3 km. According to the Earthquake Magnitude Scale, a tremor between 2.5 to 5.4 magnitude can often be felt, but only causes minor, if any damage.
