A-P Junior Haden Abbott ] said:

“It’s great, all the hard work we put in together, we go out and have fun. This really shows when you put in hard work with great guys like this can result in a state title.”

Abbott said of the game, “We knew they were going to try to out-run us, but if we keep running and get up and down the floor, no one can out-run us and we’re going to get our points. In the state finals, shots were falling in the beginning of the game and we rebounded as a team and that led us to a state title.

Senior Tucker Gerych said after the game, “I’m still in shock … I don’t even believe that we are here right now. My senior year, I couldn’t ask to play with a better group of guys. The chemistry, the love outside of practice … Everything is amazing with this group of boys and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

Gerych said of the Glens Falls Civic Center, “I’ll never forget the energy that comes from on that floor when you are down there. It is so loud between the teams, the crowd and everybody. It gets you pumped and gets you going.”
