City of Hornell announces new police officer has been sworn in

Officer Nathan Donahue joins Hornell Police Department

The Hornell Police Department is proud to announce that Nathan Donahue joined its ranks last week as he was sworn in as Hornell’s newest officer.  Nate was officially sworn in by City Clerk Melissa Logan on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in a special ceremony held at the Public Safety Building.

“Nate has a strong military background (having previously served in the Marine Corps) and will be a great addition to our police force”, said Police Chief Ted Murray.  “I’m happy to bring Nate aboard.”

“I am proud to welcome Nate to the Hornell Police Department,” said Mayor John Buckley.  “Our officers serve with pride and dedication, and Nate will be a wonderful addition to our City’s police department.”
