Tom Reed has fully resigned from the seat in the House of Representatives

We asked the office of Senator George Borrello to comment on rumors that he was considering a run for US Congress. Borrello’s press secretary just sent us this statement:
Statement from Senator Borrello regarding a possible candidacy for the 23rd Congressional District:
“I am seriously exploring a possible candidacy. Now more than ever, I think it’s important that we have a strong representative in Congress. My goal is always to serve the residents of our region to the greatest extent possible. That commitment will determine my next steps.”
