Three incredible performances took place over the weekend

The Arkport Drama Club performed the stage rendition of “Clue,” based on the 1985  murder mystery movie on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

A preview of the shows ran on the HornellSun.com website.

The students put on a great performance and the community members who attended donated toward future performances.

The performance of Clue featured 40 students in grades 7 to 12 and was led by club advisor Tomi Stratton and student directors Emily Pfaff and Abby VanOrder.

District 6 cheers for local theatre!

Stratton said, “Over the past two months, the actors have been tirelessly studying lines (even facetiming each other after practice to run lines again) and stage crew have been painting sets, learning new roles backstage, and creating props. After not having a drama club last year, I’m proud of all the work these students put into this production.”
