The next installment of The Writers’ Stage, typically an event that gives creative writers an opportunity to share their stories, will have a new twist in the form of a creative writing workshop!

The time and venue for The Writers’ Stage, a free event for the public, has been temporarily changed from the Community Arts Center to the Hornell Public Library at 5:00-7:00 p.m. on July 6, 2022. Walt Franklin will present a workshop for creative writers ranging from beginner level to experienced composers. He has four decades worth of experience in writing poetry and non-fiction to share with the participants. All materials provided. Personal resources are acceptable. This workshop is open to all ages—tweens & teens are encouraged to participate!

Visit the library’s Facebook page to view event details, and don’t forget to “like & follow” the page to keep up-to-date on the library’s latest programs and announcements. For more information, you can also call or email the Hornell Public Library at (607) 324-1210 or hornellpubliclibrary@gmail.com.
